The Director General of DMA, Eng.Dhafir Mahmood Khalaf, chaired the periodical meeting with the national and international mine action organizations, today , Teuesday in the headquarter of DMA.

The media spokesperson of DMA said that the meeting discussed the mechanisms of resumption to promote the requests for granting entry visas to the employees working in the international mine action organizations,  as well as that these organizations should submit proposals of grant projects to the donors according to the priorities of Iraqi government in which that the contaminated governorates determined in accordance with the national strategy in this regard.

Besides, it was confirmed in this meeting the necessity to adopt IMMAP as a coordinating body among the Directorate of NGOs, National Operations Center and DMA on one side and national and international mine action organizations on the other side in order to coordinate for issuing access letter for these organizations.
