The Director General of DMA, Eng.Dhafir Mahmood Khalaf, met the director of Tetratak company today, Tuesday in his office and discussed with him the various mine action activities.

The official spokesperson of DMA said that it was discussed in the meeting the possibility of granting the mentioned company new task orders in Nineveh and Kirkuk governorates in order to carry out the works of clearance in preparation of reconstruction for some houses and some other infrastructure sites, so it is possible to address any obstacles and difficulties encountered this matter, indicating that the two parties discussed the matter of facilitating the works of demining in Al-Zanjili area within Nineveh governorate in preparation for the reconstruction of nine destroyed homes by IOM after securing the activity of clearance, and the two parties  agreed to determine the priorities of contaminated infrastructure for the purpose of conducting the clearance by the mentioned company after receiving the new task order from DMA.
