The Directorate for Mine Action, one of the directorates of the Ministry of Health and Environment, organized the second workshop for the National Forum for Dialogue , which includes all relevant parties, focal points in ministries and governmental departments and United Nations agencies of Mine Action, at the headquarter of DMA in Baghdad.

The Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood, said that the technical workshop, who chaired its sessions, was attended by representatives from the ministries of foreign affairs, defense, interior, planning, industry and minerals, sciences and technology and border ports commission in order to follow up the obligations of Republic of Iraq regarding the implementation of measures of prohibiting the anti-personnel mines.
