The Directorate for Mine Action, one of the directorates of the Ministry of Health and Environment, announced that it will work in according to IMSMAng Online with related Addons System in the activities of the National Mine Action Program in Iraq which undertakes the tasks of supervising its implementation.

The Director General of DMA, Eng.Dhafir Mahmood, said that the program which implemented by the Planning and Information Department/DMA was supported by IMMAP to make Iraq the first country in the world that operates  according to this system.

Mahmood added that this system will allow for Iraq to access and use it anywhere as well as help in updating the data that exist in data analysis snd display tools, and thus it is one of the advanced steps towards the transition to the use of the modern technologies for obtaining the accurate information.
