The Directorate for Mine Action held a technical meeting with NPA to discuss the organization’s plan on mine action for the current year 2021 at the headquarters of DMA in Baghdad.

The Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood, said that the meeting which attended by the technical director of organization’s operations, included a review for the priorities of organization’s activities in the liberated and southern areas of Iraq which suffered from  the contamination of mines, ERW and cluster munitions for decades. 

For his part, the technical director of NPA operations praised the efforts made by DMA in the field of overcoming the administrative difficulties and obstacles that face the works of organization within the activities of national mine action program in Iraq, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of DMA staff for their continuous cooperation with the national and international organizations and companies working within the activities of the national mine action program in Iraq.
