The Directorate for Mine Action held a technical meeting with IMMAP, today, at the headquarters of DMA in Baghdad. 

The Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood, said that the meeting which attended by the country director of IMMAP, Mr.Essam Ghareeb Al-Barazanchi, included a review for the organization’s activities in the field of mine action information management and discuss the future plans for the activities that organization intends to implement in the light of development in providing the support to mine action in the field of information management and operational procedures to the departments and RMACs.

Mahmood added that the meeting also included a discussion for the proposals presented by Immap which included within the activities of the national mine action program in Iraq.
