The Directorate for Mine Action participated in the technical meeting that was held, today, Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad.

The Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood, said that the meeting was attended by representatives from the embassies of Japan, China and South Korea, as well as the participation of UNMAS. 

Mahmood added that the meeting also included a presentation on the achievements of the national mine action program in Iraq at the levels of governmental , organizations and companies that working in the field of mine action, as well as discussing and reviewing the challenges that face mine action activities and the most important needs in order to strengthen the support and international commitments towards Iraq that contribute in implementing the national commitments towards international community within the activities of the national mine action program in Iraq.
