The technical staff supervised on the destruction operations of cluster munitions and explosive remnants of war in Al-Najaf governorate.

The Director General of DMA, Eng.Dhafir Mahmood, said that the technical staff of RMAC-Middle Euphrates provided the direct logistical and field technical support to destroy the munitions which were discovered  through the survey and demining works carried out by Civil Defense Directorate during the first phase. 

Mahmood added that these operations were carried out in cooperation and coordination with the first battalion of unexploded ordnance disposal in the Military Engineering Directorate/ Ministry of Defense.
