The Directorate for Mine Action, one of the formations of the Ministry of Environment, conducted a field visit to the liberated areas from ISIS terrorist gangs in Nineveh plain, northern of Iraq.

The Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood, said that the field visit which was headed by Dr. Jassim Abd Al-Aziz Al-Falahi, authorized of administrating the Ministry of Environment, included representatives from Nineveh Operations Leadership and the project manager of United Nations Mine Action Services (UNMAS), Ms. Sharmeela,.

Mahmood added that the delegation also visited Tilkeef district to review the QC works curried out by Norwegian people’s Aid and survey and clearance carried out by Global Clearance Solutions GCS, as well as follow-up the works of survey and clearance carried out by Al-Fahad Company under the supervision of Tetra Tech Company in the old city within Al-Mosul district.
