Today, in his office, the Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood Khallaf, met the director of United Nations Mine Action Services, Mr. Pehr Lodhammer, and discussed with him the various activities of mine action.

The spokesperson of DMA explained that during the meeting, they discussed the coordination of various mine action activities regarding the organizations and companies that obtained financial grants from UNMAS, the work level with the Iraqi affected governorates, in addition to the accreditation granted to the implemented organizations and companies and what are the ways to overcome those obastacles and difficulties that hinder the work progress.

It is noteworthy that DMA is managing the Iraqi national mine action program and it is the monitoring and supervising authority on the work of implemented pr
