Today, Sunday, the Director-General of the Department of Mine Affairs, Engineer Dhafer Mahmoud Khalaf, discussed with the Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abbas Kazem Obeid, preparations for the convening of the international donors' conference to be held at the end of this week.

 The spokesman for the department said that the meeting discussed the latest technical and procedural preparations and preparations for this conference, which is hoped to be held at the end of this week, with the wide participation of the international community, organizations, the international community, local governments and all those concerned with the national mine affairs program from a national effort and companies and organizations working in this field.

 It is noteworthy that the Mine Action Department had held a previous conference of international donors nearly two years ago, which witnessed the achievement of international initiatives and contributions at the level of various mine action activities.
