Today, the Directorate for Mine Action discussed the issue of diversifying the awareness methods of the dangers of mines and other explosive remnants of war with both the Iraqi Journalists and Artists Associations.

From his part, the Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood Khallaf, said that the head of Awareness and Media Department met today the head of Iraqi Journalists Association, Mr. Moayed Al-Lami, and head of Iraqi Artists Association, Dr. Jabbar Judi, and discussed with them the possibility of shedding media and creative light on mine action, its dangers and effects and the consequences on people lives in the affected  regions and communities.

It is noteworthy that DMA has an active cooperation with all relevant institutional authorities in the fields of awareness raising about the dangers of mines and other explosive remnants of war.
