Today, the Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood Khallaf, met, in his office, the director of iMMAP and the delegation accompanied him, with the presence of Assistant D.G and head of planning and information department, listened to them about the organization’s plan for 2022 which included technical explanations that would raise the level of informational performance for the best.

The spokesperson of DMA explained that iMMAP, during the meeting, presented presentations in the field of development the programs of mine action information management as well as the time plans related to technical capacity building for IM staff which would make more effective updates to the informational data base system adopted currently for DMA and its transition to the phase of using modern electronic technologies in data exchange which will reflect the digital vision about the national mine action program in general.

It is noteworthy that DMA has a data base known as IMSMA, which is currently adopted for data entry related to contamination areas, number of victims, awareness activities and other activities of mine action.
