On Wednesday, the Director General of DMA, Eng.Dhafir Mahmood Khalaf, in his office, discussed with the representatives of French Jaid company the possibility of using drones for survey and demining.

From his part, the official spokesman of DMA stated that the meeting dealt with the possibility of conducting field experiences on the specifications of these aircraft and what capabilities and technical characteristics they have, whether by detecting the contaminated areas above ground or under water.

It is worth mentioning that DMA is the authority that runs the work of the National Mine Action Program in Iraq.
