The Director General of DMA, Eng. Dhafir Mahmood Khallaf, met today, in his office, a delegation representing IMMAP organization concerned with information management programs, and discussed with them the modern mechanisms for developing the informational work related to mine action.

From his part, the official spokesman of DMA stated that the meeting discussed the practical procedures currently in force at the level of moving from an information system to a newer one called IMSMA Core. This system facilitates the process of data entry in the form of electronic forms that saves more effort and time.

It is noteworthy that DMA has a comprehensive database of all information related to the areas of contamination, clearance, awareness activities and victim assistance, as well as maps and other accurate technical information.
