On Thursday, the Director General of DMA, Dr. Sabah Hassan Al-Hussaini, met, in his office, the Country Director of MAG organization in Iraq, and the operational delegation accompanying him, and discussed with him the mine action work carried out by MAG in Nineveh Governorate.

From his part, the official spokesperson of DMA stated that the operational delegation of MAG had reviewed the activities of their organization in Nineveh governorate, what were the most important successes achieved and the most important challenges that had hindered the progress of their work, in addition to discussing their future plans to be implemented in the event that they were approved by DMA in Nineveh Governorate: Sinjar, Tal Afar, and Tel Kaif districts. The organization's strategy to be implemented during the next year was also discussed.

It is noteworthy that DMA is a supervisory and monitoring body for all work carried out by the national effort or NGOs effort working in the field of mine action.
