On Tuesday, the Directorate for Mine Action signed, in its headquarter, with representatives of British companies an initial preliminary report containing all technical and legal details to carry out the various activities of mine action by these companies under the loan of UKEF. 

From his part, the Director General of DMA, Eng.Shawkat Tayeh Masoud, explained that through the meeting with the companies (British content), he reviewed all the technical and legal details related to the mechanisms of dealing with this loan to carry out the works of mine action, stressing on the Companies ( British content) that are not have accreditation, the necessity to complete their administrative and legal requirements within specific periods in order to obtain the accreditation from DMA, so apply for competitor in operational contracts from the ministry of environment within the allocations of loan.

It is noteworthy that the federal budget law that was approved earlier covered a British loan with $ 400 million, allocated for purposes of conducting mine action by the British Companies in accordance with the government regulations and laws in force.
